The NCOAGA’s highest honor, celebrating members who have shown exceptional dedication and commitment to the Association.

Meet our past Hall of Fame Recipients

Awardees have their names engrafed on a permanent plaque or trophy to be kept at a designated location and displayed at the annual General Membership Meetings.

For posthumous honorees, the award is presented to the next of kin.

2015 Winners

Purpose

The Hall of Fame Award recognizes NCOAGA members who have demonstrated outstanding, long-term dedication and service to the Association, embodying the values of integrity, trustworthiness, and leadership.


Criteria

To qualify for the Hall of Fame Award, nominees must:

  • Have a longstanding and active relationship with the NCOA Graduate Association.
  • Demonstrate exemplary military service history.
  • Exhibit superior personal and military characteristics, acting as a role model for others.
  • Have significant contributions to NCOAGA programs and military and community service.
  • Deceased members are eligible for consideration.


Nomination Process

Submission: Any general member in good standing may submit a nomination.


  • Nomination packages must be computer-generated and formatted in paragraphs.
  • Email nominations to the Vice President of Chapter 1 by March 31 each year.


Selection:

  • The Selection Committee reviews and submits nominees to the NCOAGA Board of Directors at the annual General Membership Meeting.
  • A 2/3 “Yes” vote by the Board is required to move nominees forward.
  • Final approval requires a 2/3 vote by the General Membership delegates.


Reasons Not to Award

The Hall of Fame Award is reserved for members with a record of outstanding service, not given merely for longevity or as a “Good Old Boy” acknowledgment. Only members in good standing with the NCOAGA are eligible.
