Awardees have their names engrafed on a permanent plaque or trophy to be kept at a designated location and displayed at the annual General Membership Meetings.

Purpose
The Hall of Fame Award recognizes NCOAGA members who have demonstrated outstanding, long-term dedication and service to the Association, embodying the values of integrity, trustworthiness, and leadership.
Criteria
To qualify for the Hall of Fame Award, nominees must:
- Have a longstanding and active relationship with the NCOA Graduate Association.
- Demonstrate exemplary military service history.
- Exhibit superior personal and military characteristics, acting as a role model for others.
- Have significant contributions to NCOAGA programs and military and community service.
- Deceased members are eligible for consideration.
Nomination Process
Submission: Any general member in good standing may submit a nomination.
- Nomination packages must be computer-generated and formatted in paragraphs.
- Email nominations to the Vice President of Chapter 1 by March 31 each year.
Selection:
- The Selection Committee reviews and submits nominees to the NCOAGA Board of Directors at the annual General Membership Meeting.
- A 2/3 “Yes” vote by the Board is required to move nominees forward.
- Final approval requires a 2/3 vote by the General Membership delegates.
Reasons Not to Award
The Hall of Fame Award is reserved for members with a record of outstanding service, not given merely for longevity or as a “Good Old Boy” acknowledgment. Only members in good standing with the NCOAGA are eligible.
