For posthumous honorees, the award is presented to the next of kin.

Purpose
The Minutewoman Award celebrates women who have made impactful and lasting contributions to the NCOAGA and its goals. This prestigious honor recognizes individuals who, through their dedication, have strengthened the ANG and advanced the Association's mission.
Criteria
To qualify for the Minutewoman Award, a nominee must meet the following:
- Significant and sustained involvement with the NCOAGA that advances Association goals.
- Military or civilian status, with civilian nominees connected to ANG personnel.
- Demonstrated integrity, high moral character, and contributions made selflessly.
- Notable impact within the ANG and community programs.
- Deceased members may also be eligible for consideration.
Nomination Process
Submission: Any general member in good standing may submit a nomination.
- Nomination packages must be computer-generated and formatted in paragraphs.
- Email nominations to the Vice President of Chapter 1 by March 31 each year.
Selection:
- The Selection Committee reviews and submits nominees to the NCOAGA Board of Directors at the annual General Membership Meeting.
- A 2/3 “Yes” vote by the Board is required to move nominees forward.
- Final approval requires a 2/3 vote by the General Membership delegates.
Reasons Not to Award
The Hall of Fame Award is reserved for members with a record of outstanding service, not given merely for longevity or as a “Good Old Boy” acknowledgment. Only members in good standing with the NCOAGA are eligible.
